Suit design history

Wetsuits were made only with raw sheet of foam-rubber neoprene that did not have any backing fabric. This type of suit required extra care while pulling it on because the raw foam-rubber by itself is both breakable and sticky against bare skin. Stretching and pulling excessively easily caused these suits to be ragged in half. This was somewhat remedied by thoroughly powdering the suit and the diver's deceased with talc to help the rubber slide on more easily.
Backing materials first arrived in the form of nylon sheeting applied to one side of the neoprene. This allowed a swimmer to pull on the suit relatively easily since the strong nylon took most of the strain of pulling on the suit, but the suit still had the black sheet rubber exposed on the outside and the nylon was very stiff and rigid, limiting flexibility. A small strip reversed with the rubber against the skin could help provide a sealing surface to keep water out around the neck, wrists, and ankles. In the early 1960s, the British Dunlap Sports Company brought out its yellow Aqua fort neoprene wetsuit, whose high visibility was designed to improve diver safety. However, the line was discontinued after a short while and wetsuits reverted to their black uniformity. The colorful wetsuits seen today first arrived in the 1970s when double-backed neoprene was developed. Now the foam-rubber was sandwiched between two protective fabric outer layers, greatly increasing the tear-resistance of the material. An external sheet also meant that decorative colors, logos, and patterns could be made with panels and strips sewn into various shapes. This growth from bare flat black rubber to full color took off in the 1980s with brilliant fluorescent colors common on many suits.

Lapels

The jacket's lapels can be notched, peaked, shawl, or "trick”. Every lapel style carries different connotation, and is worn with different cuts of suit. Notched lapels are only originate on single-breasted jackets and are the most casual style. Double-breasted jackets regularly have peaked lapels. Shawl lapels are a style derived from the Victorian informal evening wear, and as such are not on average seen on suit jackets.

In the 1980s, double breasted suits by notched lapels were popular with the Power suit and the new wave style. In 1920s and 1930s, a design considered very fashionable was the single breasted peaked lapel jacket. This has gone in and out of vogue periodically, being accepted once again during the 1970s, and is still a recognized another. The ability to properly cut peak lapels on a single-breasted suit is one of the most challenging tailoring tasks, even for very experienced tailors.

The breadth of the lapel is a widely varying aspect of suits, and has changed widely over the years. The 1930s and 1970s featured an exceptionally wide lapel width, while during the late 1950s and most of the 1960s suits with very narrow lapels often only about an inch wide were in fashion. The 1980s saw mid-size lapels with a low gorge. Current trends are towards a narrower lapel and higher gap.Lapels also have a buttonhole on the lapels, intended to hold a boutonniere, a decorative flower. These are now only commonly seen at more formal events. Typically double breasted suits have one on each lapel, while single breasted suits have just one on the left.

Western wear

Western wear is a category of men's and women's clothing which derives its sole style from the clothes damaged in the 19th-century American West. Western wear ranges from accurate historical reproductions of pioneer, mountain man, Civil War, cowboy and vaquero clothing to the stylized garments popularized by singing cowboys such as Gene Autry and Roy Rogers in the 1940s and '50s.The most elaborate western wear is the tradition work fashioned by rodeo tailors such as Nudie Cohn and Manuel, which is characterized by elaborate embroidery and rhinestone decoration. This type of western wear, popularized by fatherland music performers, is the source of the phrase rhinestone cowboy.

Some western company’s compassion on maintaining cowboy genuineness in their events, for example like pleased Pappy's delay outside of Hardin, Montana for reenactments, staged events, and the past tours.

Black tie

Black tie is a dress code for semi-formal evening events, and is worn to several types of social functions. For a man, the major part is a black coat, known as diner jacket or tuxedo. A woman's corresponding evening dress ranges from a traditional cocktail dress to the long evening gown, resolute by current fashion, local custom, and the occasion's time.

The term tuxedo is itself variously used in different parts of the world. It always refers to some form of black tie, and sees the majority use in North America. There, it is commonly taken to mean a modern variation on the traditional black tie, while in Britain; it is from time to time used to refer to the white jacket alternative.
